URBAN STYLE, SOUTHERN CHARM
Monday, December 5, 2011
Meet Charlotte, a junior at the College of Charleston, who gets to live in a historic Charleston house with four of her best friends. Charlotte is an Arts Management major, a part-time blogger, and is social chair of her sorority, Chi Omega. As a past intern of Tory Burch, Free People, and Town & Country, Charlotte shows off her style with an eclectic mix of patterns, knick-knacks, and photographs of art, family, and friends. Stylish, social, and DIY savvy, this Philadelphia born and bred girl shares her own spin on urban style down south.
My favorite part of your bedroom has to be the cardboard deer about your fireplace! Where did you find it? C: It’s a taxidermy deer head that I ordered online through Urban Outfitters. I found it by browsing through an online interior decorating blog.
What are some of your favorite things in your room? C: I love taking pictures so I would have to say all of the photos I have hanging in my room. I love mixing my own photos with ones that inspire me. You don’t always have to spend a lot of money to make a room be the most ‘you’ it can be. I find that most of the items in my room that really represent me aren’t that expensive at all.
